CAPE TOWN – Proteas batsman Temba Bavuma has on Wednesday been withdrawn from the remainder of the One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia as a precaution.Bavuma continues his conditioning and rehabilitation following a right hamstring strain injury.He suffered a hamstring strain, which he picked up during the decider of the three-match series against England in Centurion last month.He will remain with the squad as the medical staff aim to have him ready in time for the team’s tour to India, which they depart for on 08 March 2020.Rassie van der Dussen has been brought into the squad as cover.South Africa will be looking to chase the series win when they host Australia in the second ODI between the two countries in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.
