Final preparations are being made this week for ABTA’s 2019 Travel Convention in Tokyo.
Around 500 delegates, including managing directors, CEOs, board members, marketing, sales and finance directors from retail agents, tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, airlines and media will gather in Tokyo from 7-9 October.
The theme for the 2019 Convention is Brave New World.
Confirmed speakers include novelist and broadcaster Marcel Theroux, Dnata CEO John Bevan, Travelopia CEO Andy Duncan, Tim Williamson, customer director Responsible Travel, and Garry Wilson, CEO easyJet Holidays.
Complimentary excursions of the city and other parts of Japan are being hosted by the Japan National Tourism Organisation and many delegates will also be attending Rugby World Cup games.
